Dr Ambedkar was a firm believer in the principles of social justice, equality, and democracy. He argued that democracy cannot thrive in a society that is riddled with caste-based discrimination and inequality. He believed that the caste system was the biggest obstacle to the progress and development of India and advocated for the abolition of the caste system and the establishment of a careless society.
